Getting the most out of it

Install, first launch, applying tweaks safely, premium, updating, and what to do when something doesn't behave.

Installation

  1. Download the latest installer from the Downloads page.
  2. Run the .exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info then Run anyway — normal for newer apps without a long signature reputation.
  3. Follow the setup wizard. The default install path is recommended.
  4. Launch Zynth Tweaks from your desktop or Start menu.

The app needs Administrator access to change system settings. You'll see a UAC prompt on launch — that's expected.

First launch

  1. Sign in with Google or email/password — the same account you use on the website. Free features work without signing in.
  2. The app verifies your license status. Premium unlocks automatically if your account has an active plan.
  3. Follow the dashboard Quickstart: create a backup, apply a tweak, clean system files, set up Game Mode.

Applying tweaks

Tweaks live under General (Core, Privacy, QoL, Apps, Power plan), Hardware, Network, Advanced and Startup. Every card shows an impact rating, a safety badge, and whether a restart is required.

  • Back up first. Use the Backups page or the dashboard quickstart to create a Windows restore point.
  • Recommended order: Core tweaks → Privacy → Network → Advanced. Apply Game Mode last.
  • Reverting: toggle a tweak off, or use Undo Last Batch on the Backups page to revert your most recent session at once.
  • Filter and sort by impact or safety to find the highest-value tweaks quickly.

Tweaks marked with a red safety badge change deeper system behaviour. Read the description and make sure you have a restore point before enabling them.

Game Booster

Game Booster scans Steam, Epic Games, Xbox App, Microsoft Store, Riot Client and GOG Galaxy for installed games. When you boost a game it can close background apps first, then applies a stronger FPS profile for the session and reverts afterwards. See supported launchers.

Premium

Premium unlocks 200+ tweaks, the full Game Booster and hardware-specific profiles. To upgrade:

  1. Pick a plan on the Pricing page (Monthly, Yearly or Lifetime).
  2. Complete payment through PayPal.
  3. Sign in to the app — premium unlocks instantly after payment confirmation.

Your status is tied to your account and verified server-side on each launch, so you can use it on any PC you sign in to.

Updating

Zynth Tweaks includes a built-in updater. When a new version is available the app prompts you; updates download and install automatically. You can also run the latest installer over your existing install — settings and account stay intact.

Troubleshooting

SmartScreen warning

Click More info then Run anyway. The installer is safe when downloaded from this site.

App won't launch

  • Make sure you're on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
  • Run the app as Administrator.
  • Check whether your antivirus quarantined the executable and add an exception.

Premium not showing

  • Verify you're signed in with the account used for purchase.
  • Restart the app to force a license refresh.
  • Check your internet connection — license verification needs it.

Reverting changes

  • Toggle tweaks off, or use Undo Last Batch to revert your latest session.
  • Roll back to a restore point from the Backups page or Windows System Protection.

System requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Disk: ~100 MB free space
  • Internet: required for login and license verification
  • Permissions: Administrator access for system modifications
